What technology are the RCMP using to wiretap and surveil Canadians and how?
Can the RCMP use the guise of public security to hide information from Canadians?
How are the Government of Canada surveilling people and members of Parliament and Senate?
Are Public Institutions being held to account? It is out of public interest to hold accountability.

Liberals cut witnesses to 2 days only and pushed to cut to shorter days while 3 Liberal MPs struggled to follow what sub amendments are being discussed. Most of the meeting was wasted with Liberal MPs not being ready, wanting sound checks done after the meeting has started and then arguing over scheduling. Most committees meeting for 3 hours at a time historically, Liberals want 2 hour meetings instead. In the end the Liberals didn't even have any vote against sub amendment or amendment. Liberal MP Iqra Khalid then made an amendment to essentially trust the RCMP, disregarding that some of the documents passed through Parliament, those removing accountability. Bloc Rene Villemure reminds committee that knowing what the RCMP does is in the interest of public good. We want to learn what electronic surveillance is done, and why warrantless searches are done. This is based off a 132 page document from the House of Commons. Conservatives want to know the when Parliamentarians are ask for data that Canadians are provided it. Liberal motion to remove accountability defeated by Conservatives, Bloc and NDP.

Pegasus and other malware or spyware used by the RCMP will be investigated by this committee despite Liberals wanting to hide RCMP and Minister of Safety's office actions. This would not have gone forward if 2 Liberals internet connection hadn't kept dropping off, 1 Liberal lost their chance to vote, never coming back online. The hybrid government backfires on Liberals again.

Bloc, NDP and Conservatives vote passed to move forward on investigating RCMP usage of digital surveillance tools on Canadian citizens.
