Road trip by car from Zagreb to Rastoke / Slunj - a picturesque Croatian town located on a point where river Slunjčica flows into river Korana, creating beautiful water cascades, small waterfalls, rivulets and lakes. As it is a similar natural phenomena to that in Plitvice Lakes National Park, Rastoke is also known as "the Little Lakes of Plitvice". The journey takes us south of Zagreb through wonderful, largely unspoiled traditional little villages and lush countryside of central Croatia (Turopolje, Pokuplje, Kordun and Lika).
