Here is the List of the most common money mistakes to avoid:

1. Student loan debt.
2. Waiting to long to invest.
3. Buying an expensive car, or new car.
4. Renting an expensive apartment.
5. Buying to Expensive of a house.
6. Not keep track of finances.
7. Buying useless luxuries.
8. Not letting significant others pay for anything.
9. Being complacent at your career.
10. Trying to get rich quick.
11. Overspending on food.
12. Diving head first into credit cards.
13. Not caring enough about credit history.
14. Not planning for retirement.
15. Cutting financial corners
16. Getting pets.
17. Avoiding calculated risks.
18. Ignoring insurance.
19. No emergency fund.
20. Borrowing money from a friend or family member.
21. Having no financial goals.
22. Living paycheck to paycheck.

The common pattern with all of these money mistakes is frivolous and excessive spending on borrowed money.

Proverb 22:7 says "The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is slave to the lender".

Borrowed money is debt, and deb can have a choke hold on your life. Especially when it gets out of control.

The most simplest and effective way avoid money mistakes (Especially these ones) is to simply ACT YOUR WAGE. You must put your ego into check. Stop buying things that you cannot afford. You may be fine with the monthly payment, but your future self is going to hate you for this debt.

Be proud to drive a beater car around. Be proud if you shop at Goodwill, Thrift shops, or other consignment stores...It sounds easy to do this, but its not. I am now 32 years old and really just started to not care what people think about me. I have nobody to impress, and I started valuing internal joy over external temporary excitement.
