Total Body Workout Routine For Beginners- Effective AND Safe!
With all the information and videos out there, it's hard to know what a safe and effective total body routine actually is.
After working with clients and patients over the years, who were looking for both fitness, form, and function, I came up with this workout to safely get fit.
All you need is a pair of dum bells and a mat.
Not sure what weight to use? Start off on the light side (2-5lb) if you haven't worked out at all. By the end of your 8-12 reps, your muscles should feel tired and like it would be challenging to do another couple of repetitions.

Current research also shows you only need to do 1 set of 8-12 reps to actually have an effective workout, so no need to kill yourself or take up too much time:)
Not sure how much weight to use? By the end of your repetitions, you should be feeling like those muscles are tired and it would be tough to do another couple reps.
