It would be such a pain to read the entire textbook from the front cover to the back cover right? Yup, that is true! So the best way to utilize a math textbook when you are looking for something is to skim through it. To skim efficiently, we need to know the differences and meanings of definitions, axioms, theorems, and corollaries. With this understanding, we will know how to easily look in a math textbook for what we need.
