JESUS, THE MESSIAH & ETERNAL KING Mathew 11:25-30
• Matt 11:25-26 Jesus' attention shifted from the rebellious to the faithful as He said, "Father, thank You that You have revealed truth to these babes. The Pharisees, the religious, the scholars—they're not responding. But, Father, thank You for the babes." In the Book of Acts, Luke writes that the Pharisees, Sadducees, and scribes marveled when they heard the wisdom of Peter and John. "How did these fishermen get such wisdom?" they wondered. The answer? Peter and John had been with Jesus (Act_4:13). That's the key. Spend time with the Lord in the Word, and you'll be so wise that even Pharisees will wonder how you became so wise.

• Matt 11:27 In the Old Testament, know means more than knowledge. It implies an intimate relationship. The communion between God the Father and God the Son is the core of their relationship. For anyone to know God, God must reveal himself to that person, by the Holy Ghost. How fortunate we are that Jesus has clearly revealed God to us, as well as his truth and how we can know him. Let's press in the spirit for a personal encounter that makes us know God intimately.

JESUS, THE MESSIAH & ETERNAL KING Mathew 11:25-30
• Matt. 11:28-30 A yoke is a heavy wooden harness that fits over the shoulders of an ox or oxen. It is attached to a piece of equipment the oxen are to pull. A person may be carrying heavy burdens of (1) sin, (2) excessive demands of religious practices, (3) oppression and persecution. Jesus frees people from all these burdens. The rest that Jesus promises is love, healing, and peace with God, not the end of all labor. A relationship with God changes meaningless, wearisome toil into spiritual productivity and purpose.

Personal Supplication
Father, in the name of Jesus, I cast all my cares upon You, knowing fully well that You are in charge of my affairs.
1 Pet 5:7
7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

Daily Protection Covenant Declaration
Because I dwell in the secret place of the most High, I shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
Surely he shall deliver me from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
He shall cover me with his feathers, and under his wings shall I trust: his truth shall be my shield and buckler.
I shall not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
Nor for the pestilence that walks in darkness; nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday.
A thousand shall fall at my side, and ten thousand at my right hand; but it shall not come nigh me.
Only with my eyes shall I behold and see the wicked rewarded.

Because I have made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, my habitation;
There shall no evil befall me neither shall any plague come nigh my dwelling.
For God shall give his angels charge over me, to keep me in all my ways.
They shall bear me up in their hands, lest I dash my foot against a stone.
I shall tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt I trample under feet.
Because I have set my love upon God, therefore will He deliver me: He will set me on high, because I have known His name.
I shall call upon Him, and He will answer me: He will be with me in trouble; He will deliver me, and honour me.
