Time is running out for public comment in the second revised draft of the California Math Framework. If adopted, districts around the state will be encouraged to use this framework to transform the way they teach math in K-12.

David Margulies graduated from UC San Diego with a Ph. D. in Materials Science out of the Center for Magnetic Recording Research.
He worked as a Research Staff Member at IBM Research – Almaden
He has co-authored numerous scientific publications including first author of papers in Physical Review Letters, Physical Review, and Applied Physics Letters.
He is a co-author on 34 United States Patents, including one that covered the magnetic recording media used in the first Ipod made. He will join me to explain how this framework will fail students, especially those wishing to pursue careers in STEM.

All eyes on California folks; as they go, so may go the nation.
