Pope Francis departs Edmonton for Quebec City – July 27, 2022

Pope Francis departs Edmonton as he completes the Alberta portion of his visit to Canada and heads to Quebec City. The Pope is visiting Canada from July 24 to 29 to meet with Indigenous peoples and to address the role of the Catholic Church in Canada’s residential school system. The papal visit also includes stops in Iqaluit.
