Winter scouting while reading your property and how deer use the property when snow on the ground is much easier. If deer do some of the things in winter as they do in the fall or summer even, it could be a significant pinch point of the property. Go into those bedding areas and act like a deer. What do the deer see or smell? Imagine watching a hunter or predator walk by and how your going to escape. Every property hunts different. Deer have different tendencies (personalities or deer-onalities) on how they use the property. Keep learning and keep up with the natural habitat changes and deer use changes.
