Interview 263 with Susan Krutzer

Susan Kreutzer was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area in the heart of Silicon Valley.
She attended college for her undergraduate degree at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo and earned her law degree from the University of Santa Clara.
The first years of her legal career were spent working in private practice in Silicon Valley as a litigator. She then switched from working in the private sector to working in State government as a regulatory attorney for the California Department of Insurance.
As a regulatory attorney, she was involved in the oversight of insurance companies (and their holding companies) who were doing business in CA. This work led her to participating in the oversight and rehabilitation of the largest life insurance company insolvency in the history of the United States.
It was while working at the Department of Insurance that Susan came down with a strange flu like illness following a summer vacation in incline Village, Lake Tahoe. Apparently, a similar illness had swept through this community 7 years earlier during the height of the AIDS epidemic.
An illness that had some similarities to AIDS with the ability to disrupt the immune system and cause a series of chronic disabling symptoms. An illness that had no “official” known cause and until SARS Cov-2/Covid, a community of patients so “allegedly” diverse that governments around the world relegated it to a “no man’s land” of bureaucratic disdain and obfuscation.
It is from her many diverse life and career experiences that she began her quest to uncover answers to her “mystery” illness. This adventure has opened a window into an underbelly of greed and deceit, as well as a global power grab for control by big finance, big tech, big government and the medical industrial complex.
