I wanted to design a filament spool holder for the top of my printer. I wanted something will ball bearings that would make is easier to pull out the filament. I also wanted a filament cleaning guide. The guide also helps with fast movement backlash. The problem with super tight filament is and can exacerbate jerk by putting tension on the extruder and hotend.
