Samsung TV remote Troubleshooting & Repair with Battery Leak and intermittent PCB

The remote had two different problems. The factory batteries starting leaking and created a mess. Good thing I caught it in time before if did permanent damage. Once I got it back together the remote was intermittent. I solved the intermittent issue by reflowing the solder joints on all the board components. Remote is working again as usual.
