Cadillac SRX GM Power Hydraulic Liftgate Arm Actuator Leaking Replacement ACDelco 23429744 repair

My 2015 Cadillac Power Liftgate stopped opening. The hydraulic strut had been leaking for some time. When the hydraulic fluid became too low the pump stopped working. The dealer quoted around $1000 to fix. The job took me around 4 hours.
