Weird, contradictory, and utterly destructive are some of the terms one can use to describe the policy choices being made in Woke Western capitals, as reflected in the handful of stories covered today.

BUT, firstly, in times of war, as the planet, its civilisations, empires, nations, and families have experienced manifold times, food, energy, and the secure supply of both, is just as high a priority as success on the battlefield, against real and imagined enemies.

Secondly, hiding in the stories covered here there is a warning relating to how policy choices in woke western capitals are simultaneously localising- and globalising (glocalising) famine and inflation. This is of course exactly what information mongers from that part of the world wants you and me, not to think. But, we are thinking it anyway.
