Quickie: Thomas Midgley, Jr.

There's been a fad lately of videos attacking Thomas Midgley Jr., blaming him for basically destroying the environment. The fact is, his inventions--leaded gasoline and Freon--were, despite their problems, MUCH better than what was available at the time.
