The Poppy Family and Player reprise the halcyon days of the Sixties and Seventies for day's Segue City Special as we roll along to the weekend hopeful that the world doesn't blow up before we're able to hit the beach instead of a bomb shelter.

As always, it's interesting to note the musical differences between decades and how the fidelity got better as everything rocked along - something not really happening these days but then again, what passes for music now has nothing to do with fidelity...

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
