Walking Tour: Split, Croatia - 4K UHD Virtual Travel

As the second biggest town in Croatia and biggest Croatian coastal town, Split is both an important transport hub and a desirable travel destination which offers plenty of cultural and entertainment events, rich nightlife, a beautiful setting which consists of multiple historical architectural layers, plenty of sunshine and lovely beaches practically within the city center.

It is most famous of its UNESCO World Heritage-protected Diocletian's Palace which was built for the Roman emperor Diocletian at the turn of the fourth century AD. Later, in the medieval times, local residents started making their homes and businesses within the palace and so it continued to be inhabited to this day. As the world's most complete remains of a Roman palace, it holds an outstanding place in world heritage.

But this ancient palace is not the only attraction of Split which is considered to be one of the most beautiful Croatian cities, not just for its outstanding architecture and beautiful Mediterranean surroundings, but also because of its lively and energetic atmosphere.
