Tornado hits northern Michigan

On the 20th local time, the town of Gaylord in northern Michigan was hit by a tornado. As of the 21st, the tornado had killed at least 2 people, injured 44 people, and the whereabouts of others were unknown, while the local population was only about 4,200 people. Witnesses said the tornado lasted for about 20 seconds, with a huge column of wind hovering in the air and debris being swept into the air. The roofs of many local houses were overturned or collapsed, trees, telephone poles and signs were downed, vehicles were overturned, roads were in chaos, and traffic in some areas was blocked.
It is understood that such a destructive tornado is relatively rare in this season.
