Broken drain plug almost ruined my day

The drain plug to the BMW 330xi snapped off in the oil pan with almost no force. On top of the price of oil and filter, I ran and bought 3 different types of bolt extractors and reverse bits to get the remaining plug out without having to drop the oil pan.
