So, you've submitted your listing details, what's next? We’ll demystify this topic in the following video my name is Chris at Hauseit. Hauseit is the largest Assisted For Sale By Owner and Buyer Commission Rebate Company in New York City, established 2014.

The first step after submitting your listing details is to make sure that you have paid for your purchase. You are actually able to select a flat fee listing package at the end of the listing submission form. If you did not select a flat fee listing package and only submitted your listing details please go back to https://www.hauseit.com. Go to our shop choose a flat fee listing package and check out.

After you have taken care of the payment and submitted your listing details please wait for our team to send you in flat fee e-listing agreement which will usually come during the same business day. If you've submitted your listing details towards the end of the business day or after hours then please wait until the next business day for our team to send you the listing agreement. Please note that our office hours are generally from Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm Eastern Standard Time.

Once the listing agreement has been signed you can expect your listing to be processed and uploaded by our team and syndicated to all third-party websites as well as the relevant MLS or RLS for New York City within 2 business days. Our partner brokerage will notify you by email once your property has been listed in the local MLS or the RLS.

Please note that once a property is listed in the MLS or RLS it takes up to two business days as discussed for the listing to syndicate fully to all the third-party websites so please be patient. Please also note that our team is unable to provide you with a list of links of all third-party websites where your listing is posted. If you are curious you can of course always Google your property address and the most popular sites that have already been indexed by Google will show up and you'll likely find your listing on a variety of third-party websites such as StreetEasy, Zillow, Trulia, homes.com, perhaps realtor.com, The New York Times, etc.

Keep in mind when looking at your listing for the first time on many of these third-party websites that it may appear that another listing agent is marketing your property, that is not the case. Remember that many of these third-party websites make money through agent advertising. Essentially, they sell advertising space on your listing and all listings to the highest bidder, random agents who have paid to advertise on their website. However, despite this, it is usually still possible to contact the actual listing agent.

Once your property is listed, remember to be patient. The volume of inquiries will greatly depend on the pricing of your property and whether you have professional photos and a floor plan for your listing. If you have professional media such as professional photos and a floor plan but you still aren't getting many inquiries please do take a look at pricing. The pricing of comps in your neighborhood listings in your building perhaps your pricing is too high. Again, pricing is the most important factor which determines how many inquiries you will receive.

Also, keep in mind, the general market conditions in your area for example in New York City as of this filming, the average days on market is approximately four months from listing to in contract.
