NT Bible Study 34: Introduce the region of Samaria (Jesus to Passover b/f John in prison part 9)

This is a comparative Bible study on the events surrounding Jesus attending the Passover (John 2:12 – 4:43) after Jesus was baptized, but before John the Baptist was put in prison. This 9th part begins a discussion On Jesus' transit through Samaria on his way to Galilee (John 4:4 – 4:43), introduces the region of Samaria, and comments on the timing of John the Baptist being put in prison. Other verses referenced during this Bible study are: Matthew 4:12, Mark 1:14, Luke 3:19-20, and Luke 3:1, Genesis 48:21-22, Joshua 24:32, Genesis 12:6-7, Genesis 37. Overall, this is our 34th New Testament (NT) Bible study. I'm a layperson, hoping to witness things I believe I've learned through Bible study, and would like to share this information as a friend would with a friend.
