Blowing grasses of the Dakotas

Having just traveled through the Dakotas and eastern Montana this summer, I was captivated and mesmerized by the thick blue-green grasses of the Northwestern Great Plains, blowing in the wind. It had a beauty I was not expecting, so I decided to capture it in the form of a slow-motion video compilation.

The scenes are filmed in South Dakota at Custer State Park; North Dakota, at Theodore Roosevelt National Park; and the ND/Montana border along the westbound side of Interstate 94.
