Canceling My Microsoft Office Subscription Due To The Recession! Free Alternatives!

With the economy heading into a recession I'm looking to save money by canceling my Microsoft Office subscription and using free alternatives to save during these challenging times. Adobe makes some excellent products but it's not worth it during a recession and when money is tight.
