How to Plant Vegetables in Containers | Gardening

Hey, if you don’t have room for a garden you can still plant some vegetables in a container. They need at least 8 hours of sunshine. Pots dry out quicker than a garden so check that it’s moist by poking your finger down about an inch and if it’s dry water. While they are seedlings keep moist, so check daily and water if visibly dry on the surface.
Seeds are cheap, get some and give it a try. A lot is from trial and error so no better time to just in and try.
Some vegetables to try in august are radishes, beets, lettuce, spinach, peas, cucumbers and green beans.
