"Safe Zones" in Trinidad and Tobago

Prime Minister of Trinidad & Tobago, Dr. Keith Rowley, announced on Friday, Sept. 3, the creation of "Safe Zones" (i.e., vaccine passports), which are coming to the country in one month's time.

This segregation he called a "reward" for "cooperation". He explicitly linked it to the government's efforts toward "digital transformation"—the creation of a digital ID to be used for virtually everything. Trinidad is one of only 24 nations to have signed the call for a global Pandemic Treaty, and the only nation in the Caribbean to do so.

His press conference was marked by assertions, of which almost every single one was an absolute lie designed to foment fear.
