Metabolism is the chemical reactions in the body's cells that change food into energy. It is the process by which our body converts what we eat and drink into energy. The Calories in the foods we eat are combined with the oxygen in the Metabolism process to release energy to our body for daily activities and body function.

Our bodies need this energy for all of our daily activities such as Walking, Running, Thinking, Breathing, Blood Circulation, Cells Growing and Repairing, etc.

Thus, No matter what we’re doing, our body is always functioning and using energy for our daily activities. This energy comes from the foods and drinks we consume every day. Our Metabolism controls how much of that energy your body uses.
