Summer Bass Fishing With Live Bait & Assorted Lures / Summer Bass Fishing in Lansing Michigan

In this video I am doing some summer bass fishing with live bait and assorted lures. In the summer I often spend my lunch breaks or free mornings fishing ly local waters in Lansing Michigan. I live 5 minutes from the Grand River in Lansing and I work 5 minutes from the Red Cedar River in Lansing so Between those spots and all the local ponds and lakes I never find it too hard to find a few doesn't smallmouth or largemouth bass. River fishing for smallmouth bass is my zen place because I grew up on The Looking Glass River fishing for bass all summer long until it was too cold to wade the river in boots and jeans. I prefer to use waders these days but I still feel the most at home and happy while standing in a river. Largemouth bass are a little more mysterious to a river rat like me but I enjoy catching a good sized largemouth bass as much as the next guy. The thing about bass fishing is there are endless ways to do it so just do what works for you or experiment untill you find new things that work. of corse you can get lost hunting trophies for the rest of your life but I like to mix it up as often as I can.Show more
