The Long Island MLS (Multiple Listing Service) is no longer called the Long Island MLS. It is now called the OneKey MLS because of a merger between the Hudson Valley MLS and
the Long Island MLS. There is now one combined MLS for both Hudson Valley as
well as Long Island.

You must hire an agent who is a member of the One Key MLS to list your home in the OneKey MLS. Usually this necessitates the payment of a percentage commission to a full- service agent, but there’s another way to do it which will cost a lot less. That is called a Flat Fee MLS Listing, or in this case a Flat Fee OneKey MLS Listing.

So how do we get paid? We do charge a small flat fee, if and only if you close on the sale. It’s only payable at closing. If you de-list, if it doesn't sell, or if you cancel with us and hire another agent, you don't owe us a penny.

This is far more attractive than your typical Flat Fee MLS company which charges a hefty fee upfront which is non-refundable regardless of what kind of outcome you have using their listing service.

Additionally, there are no hidden fees with Hauseit. We don't upsell you or charge you to update your own listing like many other companies do, nor are there any other forms of hidden fees or upsells. For example, we don't charge you extra based on the number of pictures you want to upload to the MLS. Many other companies arbitrarily cap the number of pictures you can upload and then raise the cost of the flat fee if you want to upload.

If your buyer does not have an agent, you’ll pay zero percent commission at closing aside from the small flat fee payable to Hauseit. If your buyer does have a buyer's agent, you’ll just pay whatever buyer agent commission you've elected to offer. You make that decision up front when you list with us.
