Energy Demand is Still Healthy | Robert Rapier

Robert Rapier discusses the headwinds facing the energy industry. It has been a difficult year but contrary to popular opinion energy demand is still growing points out Rapier. While there is a lot of talk of electric cars and renewables crude oil and natural gas demand is growing, the problem is that production is outpacing that demand. Also, the Coronavirus has had a large impact on demand from China, which is one of the world's largest users of energy. He points out that when SARS broke out several years ago, China had the sixth-largest economy in the world, now China is the second-largest economy so the current crisis will have a larger impact regardless of how serious it becomes, and Coronavirus is looking to be a larger outbreak than SARS.
