DAYS 37 & 38 / 2022 Wheat Harvest / July 22 & 23

Day 37…
was sort of a down day. Sort of.

We got back to Lewellen the night before about 11:30ish. So getting up was not an easy chore.

We headed to Chappell to load the combine and took the “train” to Oshkosh for the night.

Made a quick trip to Ogallala for chain and a few necessities at Walmart.

Day 38…
Moving day.

After we left our Lewellen “home”, we headed for Oshkosh to pick up Pete and the Beast.

Slight change of plans when Jim realized the front jacks on the 5th wheel were seeping down. He found a drill, drilled holes and wired them up.

The day was spent making our way to Broadus, MT for the night.
