On World Press Freedom Day, US Secretary of State John Kerry says that journalism and the truth is a badge of honor.
Kerry delivered remarks at the State Department on Tuesday commemorating the occasion, reflecting on the importance of the struggle for freedom of press.
Kerry added that no government can fairly claim respect if its citizens are not allowed to say what they believe or are denied the right to learn about events and decisions that affect their daily lives.
