First sign of illness protocol.
Vit A - (this HIGH dosage should NEVER ever be taken more than 2 days, it can cause liver damage over that amount and time) Age 15 and older- 150,000 IU, 2x a day for 2 days ONLY! (if you have a clotting disorder never take this dosage, if never take this high dose of Vit A Take a half dose)
Vit C- Whole food, buffered C, Ester C is only types I recommend. 2,000/5,000mg as stomach tolerates for 10 days even if symptoms have gone away.
Zinc- Adults 75-100mg a day divided into 2 to 3 doses through the day. Recommended dosage of zinc can be used daily for preventive care.
Larix /(echinacea)- both these have similar active ingredient called, arabinogalactan which boost production of white blood cells. Larix is stronger, can be used by younger ages(as young as 6 months) and can be taken in cyclic preventive care BUT echinacea cannot. Larix, large children and adults- 2 tablets, 3x a day, younger 1 tablet 3x a day. (also in powder larger children and adults - 1 Tbsp 3x a day, smaller kids 1 tsp 3x a day) Larix cyclic preventive care, ie flu season- adults and older children can take 1 tablet 2x a day. Under 5 - 1/2 tsp a day in flu season.
