Putin set conditions

A special military operation to protect Donbass will be suspended if Kyiv ceases hostilities and fulfills Russia's demands, Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a telephone conversation with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. According to the Russian president, the special operation is going according to plan, the Russian Armed Forces "are doing everything possible to save lives and ensure the safety of civilians." Putin stressed that the strikes are carried out only on military infrastructure facilities.
