Fixing water erosion road property management for homesteaders PART 1

Friday the 13th! Join me for a rare bit of sun on our Southern Illinois farm as I jump in the Bobcat e42 Mini Excavator and fix a washed out road through our woods. The weather has been mostly rainy like every other day but today we had a break from the rain so I went after this job that has been on the back burners for awhile; to fix the wooded road/riding trail through the deep woods on our Illinois homestead farm. This is PART 1, and PART 2 will be out very soon (it was a little too long for one video). Join me as I fix a washed out road by creating a new ditch/water drainage system along side of the washed out road and build up the old road with some fill and grade it with the Bobcat excavator to divert the water runoff along the sides of the road to reduce the water erosion damage. This is just one part of overall land management, which is keeping a good road system on you property so that you can access it all year long. Thanks for joining us and please hit the Like button and share our content to help us get out there against the YouTube giant channels that are promoted ad nauseum. We strive to bring you fun, fresh air, and of course some great content! Stay tuned for PART 2 as it should be out very soon to see how this road project came to its completion! Thank you.
