Muzaffar Warsi (Urdu: مظفروارثی‎) (born 23 December 1933 in Meerut, British India, died 28 January 2011) was a prominent Urdu poet, essayist, a lyricist par excellence, and a scholar of Pakistan.

Shiraz Uppal is a Pakistani singer, songwriter and music producer. His popular songs are “Tu Kuja”, “Tera Te Mera”, "Raanjhanaa", “Mann Ja Ve”, “Roya Re”, Rabba", “Saiyan Ve”, "3 Bahadur" and many more.

Ustad Rafaqat Ali Khan is a Pakistani singer-songwriter and musician. Trained as a classical singer, he is the son of the classical music singer Nazakat Ali Khan and nephew of Salamat Ali Khan of Sham Chaurasia gharana. He is the cousin of classical music singerShafqat Ali Khan.

The ninth season of the Pakistani music television series Coke Studio commenced airing in Pakistan on 13 August 2016,[1] concluded on 24 September 2016 and contained 7 episodes. Season nine aired Fridays (digitally) and Saturdays (televised), on various timings and channels across the country.

"Tu Kuja Man Kuja" was written by Muzaffar Warsi originally composed and sung by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.[7] The modern adaptation of the song was also performed in Coke Studio Pakistan (season 9) by Rafaqat Ali Khan and Shiraz Uppal.

But there is also a claim that “Tu kuja man kuja” is written by a Persian poet Jalal ud din Rumi and later on sung by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
It is clear from the name Jalal ud din (meaning the Glory of faith) that the poet was a Sufi mystic. Commonly known as Rumi the writer was born on 30th September 1207 in Balkh. He wrote many prose and poetry. One of his poems Maṭnawīye Ma’nawī is six volume poem called as Persian language Quran by some poets. He died on 17th December 1273 in Konya.
