Bodycam Footage Released Of 13-Year-Old Carjacking Suspect Shot By Chicago Police

Bodycam footage from a May 18th non-fatal police shooting of a 13-year-old carjacking suspect was released by officials earlier in July. Authorities say the teen bailed from the vehicle after police began pursuit when the plates came back as having been a stolen vehicle. While the teen was fleeing on foot, a CPD officer opened fire on the teen suspect, with the officer claiming they believed the suspect to be armed. However, investigators say the teen was unarmed during the incident.
