Alexis Hay is a Pastry Chef at The Original Dinerant, a small diner inside the Courtyard by Marriott who breathes life and love into each one of her pastries. Some of which are chef Alexis’ cakes of the week, variety of pies, cheesecakes, and homemade OG Tarts (her version of a pop tart).Graduating Le Cordon Bleu of Portland in 2014 and since then has worked for Hilton and Marriott hotels in her short time in the food industry. Food from all the types and occasions that can be made or created the opportunities are endless and some that seem to fit anytime of day from a cupcake for a meeting to pie as a holiday Deseret or special treat but we can all agree birthday cake is for birthdays.
