The Boyana Church & The National Museum Of History - Sofia #4K 🇧🇬

This is just a short video to show you another two landmarks of Sofia, that are located a bit further away from the city center and the rest of the tourist attractions.

These places are a "MUST-SEE" because the Boyana Church is one of the oldest churches in Sofia included in the UNESCO World Heritage and the National History Museum exhibits some really rare golden and silver treasures.

There are buses running, I took bus 64 from the Paradise Mall but since the taxis are still relatively cheap you can get a taxi as well.

The church is only about 2 km away from the museum, so, the best way to get from one place to the other is by walk. You can also combine your visit to the church with a hike to the Boyana waterfalls. I have heard the waterfalls are stunning but the area where you have to hike is really steep, so, you need to wear special shoes and you need more time. That is why I have combined it with the museum and actually doing the three places in one day would not be possible. For the museum you need the minimum of 2 hours, and the church is more quick but if you want to go inside (which I advise you to do because the frescoes are beautiful) they only let you spend 10 minutes and they let in a few people at a time. That is why sometimes there is a line of people waiting.

The entrance tickets for adults are 10.00 leva (or 5.00Eur) in both the church and the museum.
