PRESS FORWARD AND RUN THIS RACE WELL!!!

13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA MY FRIENDS!!!

You know guys, I can very much relate to what this passage of scripture is stating, because there are times that I struggle, that I'm battling with and fighting against things that are weighing me down in my journey with the Lord, and sometimes it really gets me down. I want to make sure that I'm keeping my eyes on Christ, but how can I do that, when I'm seeing all the craziness around me? I think that's why the questions from this morning's devotional or so incredibly challenging to me, and I'd like to share them with you tonight. Please read these questions very carefully, and I pray that God will speak to your heart through them.

What do you sense is weighing you down on your life journey?

How might you persevere and be free of the weight that entangles?

I know that there are so many things that do weigh us down in our life’s journey. Worrying about finances, the memory of past mistakes, since that have been forgiven but Satan tries to bring them up in our face, and just even concern over family members that you think are falling for false teachings. I want to run this race that's before me, but how can I do it when these things are ensnaring me?

What I'd like to do right now, is share some things that God has put on my heart concerning this passage of scripture, as well as the issue of running this race, through this vlog I'd like to share with you all tonight. Please join me in this blog, and learn how to look to the pioneer and perfecter of faith, so that you won't grow weary and lose heart in your journey! 😊

So, as I close this post tonight, I pray that you will not allow the distractions, hindrances, temptations, and things of this world, that Satan will put in your path, to keep you from affectively following Jesus, but that you will do as Paul stated by choosing to move forward, and looking to Jesus as your goal. That you will earnestly, honorably, and passionately run the race, and never give up, even when you make mistakes. Throw off the hindrances of the past, distractions of the world, and anything that would keep you from affectively serving Jesus, and just plain RUN, focused totally on Him! Keep your eyes on the true prize that is Jesus Christ, and you will run a race like no other with victory, honor, and glory in His name!
