Almost Lost a River Monster (baby!?!)

Caught our first gar ever in Texas! They are super slimy and have hard scales like a lizard/snake that can be sharp

P.S. We saw a 6 foot+ alligator gar the first time we walked into this area and scared it from the embankment. We'll be sure to capture that one on video!
