Luke 13:1-9 “A Call to Repentance!”

Jesus answers their question with a question.
Do you think these Galileans were worse sinners than all other Galileans, because they suffered such things?
Or what about the eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them, do you think that they were worse sinners than all other men who dwelt in Jerusalem?
Jesus didn’t speak out against Pilate, nor did He speak against the Galileans…
He addressed the bigger issue…we all are sinners…there are none righteous no not one!
We have all fallen short of the glory of God!
And one day…we will all die…whether or not a tower falls on you or you are killed in an act of violence…or you get hit by a bus…we all die.
And the argument isn’t who was the worse sinner…the argument is…if you do not repent of your sins before you die…
You will face the judgment of Almighty God when you awake from the sleep of death.
