The EU has admitted that its sanctions are not so much to help Ukraine but to harm Russia, which suggests they may qualify as forms of collective punishment that qualify as war crimes under the Geneva Conventions and the UN Charter. The US has played such a major role here that "we own it" appears to apply. The DOJ sabotaged Trump's order to reclassify 100s of documents exposing FBI complicity in the Russiagate hoax, which Hillary authorized to undermine the legitimacy of his administration--and with great effect. The FBI did not want the public to know it was a partner in the crime and thus did not follow through by carrying out the President's directive. After introducing "Schedule F" for permanent bureaucrats to enable the president to fire them and gain control over the "Deep State" but unable to implement before his term ran out, Trump has announced its on his agenda to "Drain the Swamp''--and given what he has learned in the meanwhile, I do not expect him to be fooled again. DeSantis slams Biden for begging for oil from Saudi Arabia, when we can produce our own here in America but for policies he himself has implemented. And it looks very much as though Trump and DeSantis are going to team up for the 2024 election.
