An affordable way to improve your over the air TV reception without buying a new antenna or figuring out a new position is to use an amplified splitter if you are splitting into multiple TV sets or using a long coaxial cable run. Before I upgrade my current antenna I wanted to go the cheaper route of upgrading to a powered splitter and I tested to see if there are any improvements over an unpowered one so I can get the most out of whatever antenna I'm using.
