Something About Something

This song is what happens when I read C.S. Lewis and then start thinking about the difference between my experience of the American church versus the hope in my heart for what being a part of God's family could and should be like. Happy #musicmonday everbody!

why do even feel at all?

But are we
really listening?
why don't we all just stop and stay awhile?
I'm getting tired of sitting still
who's gonna start to make this real?

Let love be genuine and true
let's try and love like Jesus
if God is with me and with you
then what are we so afraid of?
