I've had good luck with a flat panel RCA antenna for many years however the last few repacks have moved a few stations to VHF frequencies (and I'm sure in the future there will be more repacks) and other stations seem to have gone to lower power towers so I've been looking for an upgraded antenna. Over the years I've tried several clearance antennas and flat panel antennas that were never any better. After coming across Clearstream and seeing their quality and good reviews I started looking for one and was planning on getting a 4V or 4Max however not all 4Max models had the VHF dipoles, they're much larger, and obviously more expensive. When I saw my local Walmart carries the new Max-V I decided I would try and and see if it would work over the 4Max since it's both smaller and cheaper and if it didn't I could always return it back to Walmart. Since getting into over the air isn't a one size fits all endeavor and most people don't know the proper methods and/or equipment needed to get good results and then give up I wanted to explain how I'm making this antenna work for my situation and give some tips that worked for me.
