Russian FM Lavrov shakes hands with representatives of 22 countries at the Arab League HQ in Cairo

At the meeting, Lavrov said: "Russia will help the Ukrainian people get rid of an absolutely anti-people and anti-historical regime. The Russian and Ukrainian peoples will continue to live together. We feel sorry for the Ukrainian people, who deserve much better. We feel sorry for Ukrainian history, which is crumbling before our eyes, and we feel sorry for those who succumbed to the state propaganda of the Kyiv regime, and those who support it, aimed at making Ukraine an eternal enemy of Russia."

Earlier, the Foreign Minister said that Western countries demanded that representatives of Arab countries not be photographed with the Russian delegation.
