Ukraine – Russia confirms air strikes against several Ukrainian military targets in Odessa port

The Russian Government and Army confirmed on Sunday the missile attack reported the day before by Ukrainian authorities against the port of Odessa, protected under the Istanbul agreement reached on Friday to resume grain exports, but pointed out that the shelling was aimed at military targets.

"Kalibr missiles have destroyed the military infrastructure of the port of Odessa," Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has made known on her Telegram account, where she explained that the attacks were aimed at a "Ukrainian military ship," which was hit in this "high-precision" shelling.

Shortly after, the Russian Army spokesman, General Igor Konashenkov, has provided more information about the attack, which not only destroyed the military ship, which he identified as a "warship in the port dock", but also a warehouse of Harpoon anti-ship missiles supplied by the United States.
