National Lockdown Would Be a Nightmare For the US Government

Many in media are begging Trump to declare a total lockdown and usher in martial law to stop the spread of the Wu Flu. The US government however simply isn't capable of forcing everyone across the country from leaving their homes. Declaring a lockdown without the means of enforcing it would discredit the US government and may even spark a rebellion. Not even China, a literal police state, declared a national lockdown! Why? Because China, like the US, is massive. Too massive to effectively lockdown entirely.
