I am Damian Anketell and I am pleased to announce my candidacy to be your next State Senator, 2nd Essex District. I was born and raised in Salem, proudly educated in Salem Public Schools, and earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a concentration in Public Law from Salem State College, now University. I am married and live in Peabody with my wife Lori, a nurse at Salem Hospital. I have lived here on the North Shore my entire life and have serves the community for nearly 20 years in Criminal Justice, Mental Health and Drug rehabilitation fields. And, I am proud of the heritage, the traditions, and the family values that I live by. Since Joan Lovely was elected, these values have been under attack. Positions she has taken are detrimental to our economy, our public safety, and our communities.

Joan helped cripple the economy by increasing taxes and out-of-control spending that has driven our financial lives into a skyrocketing inflationary spiral. She is directly responsible for record high gas prices because of the gas tax she supports, leading to increased food prices. And, she has hurt small businesses by imposing burdensome regulations and increased business taxes and licensing fees. Worst of all, she has voted to give herself and has taken pay raises tied to inflation—the inflation that she has caused!

I will support legislation that will open our economy and put more money in your pocket. I will waive the gas tax, remove regulations on our agricultural industry, and streamline small business creation.

Joan has taken a firm stand against public safety by promoting the Defund the Police movement. She eroded protection for our Police Officers. She helped violent criminals back out on our streets by reducing their bail. I will support fully funding of our Police, so they receive sufficient training and the equipment necessary to keep our streets safe. I will rewrite the bail laws to be appropriate to the crime to keep violent criminals off the streets.

Joan voted to give men the right to use women’s bathrooms even when children are present. She has transformed Massachusetts into a magnate for illegal immigrants who drain resources such as housing, medical care, and jobs from Americans and other legal residents. She gave illegal immigrants driver’s licenses.

I will vote to repeal the Transgender Bathroom bill. I will vote to require legal residency to receive any State benefits. I will vote to take driver’s licenses away from illegal immigrants.
We are suffering from Joan’s votes in our streets, in our schools, and in our wallet every day.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

This is just the tip of the iceberg. Over the next several months I will be exposing how Joan has gotten us into such a “Lovely mess.” Subscribe to my YouTube page https://youtu.be/RrHjyRzDT2E Anketell for State Senate @YouTube and look for us on Facebook. I will show how Joan’s votes are hurting us and how we can fight back by putting me in office. I hope you will consider voting for me Damian Anketell for State Senate, representing Beverly, Danvers, Peabody, and Salem.
