Faith Over Fear - Surviving In A Crazy World - Part 2 - Pastor Jason Henderson #fear #worry #anxiety

Never in our lifetime have we seen a virus like this stop the entire world in its tracks.

I am amazed at how people have responded to this:

1. Ignore Completely

2. Hoarders (Exploiters and Internals)

3. News Junkies Who Refused To Turn Off The News

4. End of the World

5. Complete Isolationists

Fear is our first reaction to circumstances beyond our control.

Faith is putting our control in the hands The ONE who controls the circumstances.

Romans 5:1-5

1Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. 2Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory.

The ONLY Way To Have Peace Is To Have Confidence In Jesus As Your Lord and Savior.

There isn’t enough toilet paper to bring you peace in an uncertain time.

There isn’t enough antibacterial soap to wash your heart and life clean.

Romans 10, 9If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved. 11As the Scriptures tell us, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.”e 12Jew and Gentile are the same in this respect. They have the same Lord, who gives generously to all who call on him. 13For “Everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved.”

The Peace He Gives Is Given Freely

Undeserved Privilege: You can’t earn it, buy it, hoard it, sell it, or manipulate it.

We fear no circumstance because we know who sits on the Throne.

We place our trust in Him ALONE.

The Peace Jesus Gives Us Also Gives Us Confidence.

We have nothing to fear, because God is still on the throne.

We are wise and discerning in these times but we are not to walk in fear, we walk in faith
